See how we’ve helped manufacturers solve real production problems. Each case study covers what the customer was dealing with, what we built, and what changed on their floor once it was running. If you’re facing something similar, these are a good place to start.

High-Speed End-of-Line Packaging Automation
Packing was still done by hand at the end of Inland’s line, and when they were short-staffed, the whole line stopped. We built a fully automated system to handle case erecting, packing, sealing, labeling and palletizing, with two FANUC robots, all inside a 21.5 x 17.5 ft cell. It keeps up with production at a 4.2-second pick-to-pick cycle and switches between four SKUs in under four minutes.

Custom Automation for 4.5 Million Units a Year
Elec-Tron needed to bring grounding lug production back in-house, but their aging equipment couldn’t keep up with demand. After an Automation Assessment, we designed and built the DTSC, a linear transfer machine that drills, taps, stamps and cuts extruded aluminum into finished lugs. It replaced two older machines, runs at about 5.6 seconds per part, and has the capacity to produce more than 4.5 million units a year.

Automated Assembly Cell with Full Torque Traceability
A manufacturer’s legacy assembly machine was running out of spare parts, falling behind on safety standards, and had no way to verify torque. With demand outpacing it, production had already started moving overseas. We built a fully automated cell that torques 18 SKUs on one machine and logs every result against the individual part. It runs with one operator instead of four, changes over in 2 to 3 minutes, and has a 99.86% torque pass rate.
